Just ok, relatively comfy but needs soundproofing.
The hotel was alright, rooms were relatively nice, but only ok value. Possibly it was soured by not having much daylight (or Northern lights) but the view wasn't much. The big problem was the soundproofing, or lack thereof, so everything from the hallway really echoed into the room -- not 4-star hotel standard by any stretch. And the cleaning staff all started around 730 am and were super noisy and you got the feeling really wanted you out of the room early. Front desk staff were great, and the restaurant was quite nice, probably much nicer in the summer, but overall just ok.

Staff was great, kind, and helpful. Location great, easy to walk to fun stuff. Easy parking in various locations near hotel bldg. The spa in the hotel is fun! Breakfast and hotel bar are nice too. Very fair price for the amenities.

The staff was lovely. The spa and rooftop bar were very nice added amenities. The location of the hotel is fantastic and walkable to pretty much anything in downtown Reykjavik. The view of the water and mountains was top notch to wake up to. I would definitely stay again.

ENTIRE BATHROOM BECOMES A SHOWER! ALSO LOUD PARTY HOTEL! Can't put floormat down, as entire floor becomes drenched. Big slip/fall hazard. 8th floor bar had parties 3/4 night's stay. Could hear loud bass music pounding through on 5th floor room. Complained to event coordinator and front desk. Nothing was done. Not worthy of 4 or 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast is nice, limited but to be expected. Staff are really nice. Only thing I would say what lets it down is the noise. 1, Road noise can hear it loads 2, The sky bar if there are events on. Being on level 5 and boom boom going off doesnt really help my child to sleep.

The perfect hotel in Reykjavik
Phenomenal service, perfect location! The room was quiet, clean, and had a good view of the bay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and the front desk staff were delightful and efficient. Bar on the 8th floor had great food and drinks as did the restaurant the next morning, and the staff there were very pleasant and accommodating. The cleaning staff were similarly professional. I would def stay here again!

Perfect location - sea view room well worth it!
Best thing about this hotel was the excellent location on the harbour front overlooking the sea and snowy mountains in the distance. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a sea view room. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming on arrival and very helpful throughout the stay. The only downside was the temperature of the room, even with the heating on it felt really quite cold. On the whole it was a lovely stay!
