Overall, pretty good. The staff were nice, things were clean. It was pretty clever and cute! However, wouldn’t recommend for anyone who needs a good night sleep - it’s bumpin’ out there all night! The bathrooms are also quite annoying. The water from the shower gets everywhere - even outside the bathroom. And if you turn on the light at night it disturbs the rest of the room as it shines through the frosted glass walls. And. There is a post in the middle of the rooms which impedes the flow of already quite small rooms.

Center Hotels Plaza is conveniently located close to Restaurants, shops and some of the sightseeing locations. I enjoyed my stay, my room was comfortable although the housekeeping was a little sloppy a couple of times. The staff was very pleasant - I highly recommend the Hotel.

This hotel is very nice and feels freshly renovated. The staff were phenomenal and friendly. The second you walk out the door you’re right in the middle of Reykjavík and are minutes from everything. This is also walking distance to bus stop 1. When I come back to Reykjavík this is where I will stay from now on.

Location is perfect. Taxis in front of hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. 15 minute taxi ride to cruise port and Sky Lagoon. Also, just a few minutes on foot to city hall which is first pickup stop for many tours. Staff is amazing.

While this hotel was on a list as a good place to stay because of it’s central location, I found it to be very noisy, the pubs do not close down until the early morning hours on the weekends so music and people talking, yelling, and enjoying themselves can be heard throughout the night.

Good... could easily get to great!

Suggest the hotel use a single queen sized comforter for the queen bed, rather than two twin comforters. Our mattress was too soft... perhaps needs replacing. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, convenient location.

I made an error with my booking dates and within 5 minutes contacted the hotel via Expedia asking to correct them. They refused to entertain it so I had paid for 3 nights I couldn't use. Ok my mistake but not customer friendly or accommodating. Beware.

I had a wonderful stay at Center Hotels Plaza and would highly recommend it, especially for solo female travelers. The hotel was clean, quiet, and felt very safe throughout my stay. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the location was excellent—right in the heart of Reykjavik, close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, and I appreciated the sense of security as a solo traveler. This hotel truly offers peace of mind and comfort.
