Overall a pleasant stay
Nice hotel. Conveniently located and with good transport links. Only drawback is whilst they serve breakfast, they dont have an in house restaurant that does lunch and dinner. But Pros outweigh that one Con and I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Reykjavik and looking for a place to stay that is not too expensive. Rooms are fine and comfortable enough too.

Property was fantastic and beyond our expectations. It was close to everything and made seeing the city incredibly easy. Only thing to watch out for is parking, not a lot of parking and any available is at an additional cost

Nice hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. There’s a convenient store next to the hotel, walkable and also it’s a good price. Rooms were warm, and I didn’t encounter any issues.

This hotel is located in city center, super close to restaurants, shops and basically everything. Walking distance to lots of stuff. Staff was super friendly.

The property is located perfectly in town right at one end, so great to walk straight up and down to all the shops,barsand restaurants. The hotel staff are so freindly and the place very clean, the only let down for us was the main shower not working corretly but no biggi as the other head worked perfect. Definitely would stay again.

The location was excellent and walkable to everything! Bus stop 1 - City Hall was very close. The room was fine. Had issues with the TV as it would not work half the time, maintenance was gone for the weekend and wasn’t going to pack up and change rooms. So dealt with it. Room was comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay again!

We liked that it was convenient to everything, but it was very loud. We could hear the people above us very easily, and our room faced the restaurants. The nightclub across the street and the taxi que had a lot of noise all hours of the night. The phone in the room did not work, and our shower seemed to only have two settings-scalding and temperate.

The hotel was in a perfect location to the town of Reykjavik, I love the location! the room itself is a little outdated, I was not expecting that from the pictures and reviews I saw but it was okay, the only thing I couldn't stand was the bathroom, the sink smelled like rotten egg every time I turned the water on and the sink clogged immediately. I ended up using the shower for all water related needs. Other than that Hotel and room was good.

Barhroom is in poor condition. Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear noise from outside when there is music from the pubsZ you can also hear the chairs being moved from the upper floor and tue conversation from the corridors

Good hotel ... but....
Great location for hotels and the harbour area, the room was great and cleaned everyday, we had a street facing room which although was very nice to look out over the skating rink unfortunately it was over the taxi rank so Friday and saturday nights were extremely noisey till 5am when the nearby clubs closed. The windows do very little to stop the noise. I would stay again mid week or request a back room for weekends. Staff were friendly.
