The availability of breakfast drinks and or snacks would be nice. At least have coffee, tea, and juice available. There is no place nearby in the mornings to get a good hot beverage. There is a small coffee maker in the room but does not make good coffee and there are no condiments with it.

What a great hotel with awesome quirky decor. Bed was comfortable. Nice big room with a sofa and frig. The staff were so nice helping us with excursions and directions. There were plenty of food options on the street. Plenty of shopping and a convenience store close by. We walked everywhere and the bus stops were really close. Our favorite part of the hotel was Baktus a cat of Reykjavík who lives at the property. He even has his own Instagram page. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Such a great place to stay!

If you have a car, finding parking is terrible. The windows also aren’t sound proof/doubled so you hear all the street noise. They do give you a sleep kit of earplugs and eye mask to help. Central location to walking everywhere

If you're in Reykjavik and want a DOWNTOWN, CENTRAL space to stay, THIS is it. Bus Stop #3...which is a super common bus stop for tours, airport transit, etc. is just ~2-3 blocks east. As for hotel, it's very quiet, clean and safe and I was up high (6th floor) and even on Fri/Sat the sound wasn't bad. The window can be cracked to let cool air in (which is good - the heat knobs can be finnicky/warm up room too much). The staff are super nice and the cat (Bactus?) is adorable. But seriously - the location is terrific. Staff will even show the best place to buy food (Kronen, like ~5-6 blocks east) to save lots of $$$ over closer 24/7 store 2 blocks away. Easy walking to Lava Show, Whales Of Iceland, boats, ferris wheel, etc. PERFECT FOR SOLO TRAVELERS.

I'd really like to compliment the front desk staff who were incredibly helpful on several occasions. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay immensely. A few minor improvements could be made - the door locks don't retract except with the key card which means that when you leave you have to slam the door for it to lock and you hear every door on the floor when others leave. The wine fridge is a nice touch but it would be nice to be able to turn off the light inside at night. I loved the luggage stand / clothing rack. It's ingenious!

Great little hotel in a terrific location. Just about everything you might want to do or see in central Reykjavík is within walking distance. Many restaurants and pubs nearby. The staff were very helpful and informative. Our room was spacious and clean. The windows are great at blocking noise. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
