This property is in a great location, but finding parking is a challenge at best, there isn't even a spot to stop for a minute to load luggage. Further, the suite smelled like wet dog, it needs a major cleaning. I was worried about my pet allergies being triggered.

Spacious room!

Great stay, spacious room, and good location. Only issue was the drain in the shower and the slight smell in the bathroom but would definitely stay there again.

It was close to amenities and the water and shops. Communication was pretty fast when I had questions. Even though there was a storage room for extra items, we went several times and could not find any towels or bedsheets at all.

We Won't use them again. No communications. We tried to contact at differenttimes. No microwave. Only 5 coffee pods, no teabags, sugar, whitener. 1/4 of toilet paper roll, we had to buy soap & toilet paper. No plugs for nightlight. No microwave. The room supposed to be for 2 people. Only one chair. No drinking glass, plates , knives, spoon or forks. Parking is free from 9pm to 9am. We were told to park in the parking garage next door when we checked in. Cost us $20/ night before we found out about it.

Great stat

We had a great stay here. It was a great location while we were in the city. It was easy to walk to many places. We were traveling as a family of 7 (teenagers and adults) and it worked out great for us. It was clean and the management was very responsive when we had questions prior to arrival.

We had a great stay. Drainage in the shower is slow and if fixed would be perfect. Kitchen had all utensils and our stay for the 3 nights had been very comfortable.

Easy access via codes to get into complex and the room. The room door code needed a # after which was not in the instructions so I was happy the cleaning crew was still there to ask how to get into the room. The cleaners were very helpful and pleasant. Room has no storage for your clothes but that seems to be how Europe does things. Just stacked everything on the floor. I’d stay here again!

Pros: Perfect location Spacious and clean Quick responses to questions via email Extra supplies readily available Cons: small electrical issue but the owner was there almost immediately with help. Lighting was still not working afterwards but we made do. Good to know: I saw reviews about people claiming they were given the wrong door code when they checked in but we had no issues. The check in directions were very clear. Do not expect a modern new luxury building. These are older buildings but have everything you need along with a lot of Icelandic charm!! I would definitely stay here again.

I felt very safe and secure in this shared apartment sort of setup. My room had its own lock and there were three bathrooms for 4 rooms so I had no issue with the bathrooms. Good deal for my short stay and I’ve stayed in a few different hotels/apartments in Reykjavik.

Lovely little hotel. Looks like it has recently been refurbished, and a couple of little tweaks would make it perfect! (Some curtains may be useful over the blinds - there is a rail there), as the street lights are a bit bright outside, and take your own sugar!

Pretty decent, some quirks…

Positives - OK price - no key to lose! - rooms warm - good location - free parking at the harbour about 5 mins walk away - Bathroom in room decent, shampoo, body wash, hand wash and hair dryer. Negatives - TV didn’t work - No sugar/Milk/tea for Coffee machine and kettle in the room - Very basic communal kitchen - no sharp knives for slicing bread or cutting vegetables, no oven, you cook on a plug in 2 burner electric hob, 1 microwave, 1 kettle, 1 2 slice toaster, fridge and freezer - Double bed is a small double, taller/bigger people may find it too small

Room itself was clean, there was a TV, kettle and fridge but no microwave as shown in the pictures. No cleaning during the stay so be prepared to re-use the provided towels for long stays or take your own. Shower gel, shampoo and toilet roll was provided. Room was on the second floor and no lift so be prepared to carry suitcase up flights of stairs. Luggage storage was quite fiddly to open and felt risky (there were no padlocks, despite being told there were). Area was good, close to restaurants, rainbow street and the marina with bus connections.
