Fosshotel Reykjavik was a really nice property. Our room was clean, a bit small, but clean and very quiet. My only suggestion would be a shelf in the shower to put your toiletries on. I had to put them on the floor and it was not convenient. The mattress was a bit too firm causing me pain but for the most part, the hotel was great. The included breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want! I would definitely stay again if I’m lucky enough to return to Iceland! Oh and the bus stop for the tours was right outside the door of the hotel! Super convenient!

We spent 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay there. The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful with advice about the Reykjavik area. It was our first vacation without a rental car. The hotel was conveniently located to downtown Reykjavik and we were able to walk to many areas there.

Great location in Reykjavik. Short walking distance to the water front and Laugavegur Street where shops and restaurants are located. Also bus stop 12 is right outside the hotel so it’s very convenient for pick up and drop off for tours etc

The parking was terrible. Parked and paid but went to move car they were giving me a ticket for a couple minutes over. The food was very expensive for the quality. Do not do your laundry there bring enough with you for your entire stay , could not believe the expensive of a small load of clothes to wash and dry well over $100 in US dollars.

This property was very quiet, so a peaceful place to return after a long day. Breakfast was great; lots of variety. We were upgraded to a suite, which was so roomy and had everything you would need, even a bathrobe and slippers. Nice areas in the hotel to have a drink and some pub food if you wanted. Haust Restaurant is where we had breakfast but we did not try their buffet lunch or dinner. Walkable area - 15 minutes to downtown, but you can always have them call a taxi for you. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
