We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. We had a free dessert in our room and got free welcome drinks! Location is a little outside the city center of town but right next to the harbor where all the boat tours were. We had a balcony and saw the northern lights every night of our stay! Also loved the spa and used it almost every day.

Lots of noise from local building works

The drilling from nearby building sites rattled the room from 10am until 4.30pm. Not the hotels fault but definitely not pleasant. The room was very hot for us and the window on lower rooms only open a very small amount (no air con as you would expect in Iceland!) Staff were very polite & welcoming as we were a large party. Breakfast was a fair mix of items but the hot food was luke warm & even when a large tray of bacon was brought out from the kitchen, it was cold.

When arriving to the hotel the staff were absolutely lovely and throughout our stay they made sure we were always catered too. We were impressed by the spa area and the room size. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to Iceland

This turnednout to be the perfect.location for us. Proximity to some unexpected attractions. Inadvertently close to great restaurants. We walked everywhere we wanted to be. Staff is FANTASTIC!!! Helpful, friendly, kind. Loved this hotel.

The staff were amazing!!!! We had a problem with one of our day trips. They helped us to get to be able to do a tour that we missed pick up for. They helped give us tips around Iceland (where to rent cars/eat). They had great personalities! This hotel and staff was amazing. I remember especially Ausie being of help. Great hotel to have your stay in. It’s close to bus stop #15 (a popular pick up spot for day tours and bus drop offs). The spa was relaxing. Book a stay here!!!
