Positives were that staff were super friendly and very helpful. A welcome drink and a piece of cake were nice touches. Breakfast and the spa facilities were ok and the hotel is an easy 10 - 15 min walk into the centre of Reykjavik.
Despite the high pricing, our room was small and basic, with very little storage space, so clothing had to be kept in our suitcases. The bed and mattress were low quality, which didn't allow for having a good sleep. Spa changing rooms are tiny, so not a lot of room with just a few people trying to get changed.
Also minimal choice of food provided for breakfast on early check out. No fruit or yogurt, only croissants?
If returning to this city, we would try elsewhere.
