Everyone who worked here was just lovely - from providing recommendations to being flexible with me on check-ins and check-outs and holding my luggage - the staff was top-notch. The room and hotel itself is beautiful and vintage, but updated with modern amenities. The location was just perfect.

A gem in the heart of Reykjavik
A little hiccough at arrival, since I booked a room with a bath, which required a room change, but after that, a fantastic hotel - stylish, conveniently located, with great amenities.

Art Deco style
This is the sister hotel to Hotel Apotek and located almost next-door. The Borg has the spa and workout room. It is a fabulous example of art deco style. It still uses a metal key. The location is great near everything important downtown.

Great place, clean and great location. My favorite place to stay while in Iceland. Awesome staff! The only thing I recommend approving was the buffet breakfast which was way over priced at 37.00 per person with a lack of food and selection.

Perfect location in old part of Reykjavik; very quiet and next to bus stop #3 which makes it easy in regards to airport transfer and excursions pick up. There are also lovely restaurants very close to hotel. Hotel was very clean and I loved my room with wood flooring and heated bathroom floor. Check in was easy but they charged me Euro 50 for early check in even though the hotel was pretty much empty. Breakfast was ok, nothing special and the exact same each day; wish there was a better bread selection. Unfortunately, they make you pay extra for espresso, cappuccino etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Borg very much and can recommend it for a memorable stay in Reykjavik.

Please do not stay here. We paid a fortune ($600 per night for 3 nights) and had a room hardly bigger than the bed without a single place to put things, with a sloped ceiling above the bed that was hard to avoid getting up. The rooms around us looked lovely and the hotel wasn't crowded - why give us the worst room on the block? Further, with one exception, the staff was unpleasant and unhelpful; I think this is indicative of a property that is mismanaged and unkind towards staff. Don't stay (despite the amazing location)

Love Hotel Borg
This was our second stay at Hotel Borg. We absolutely love this hotel. Spacious room. Great breakfast. Close to all of our favorite Reykjavik restaurants!
