Hotel Duus is a very nice and easy place to check into. All the check in details were sent prior to getting there so it was quick and easy to get into the room. The room was very spacious and perfect for our one night stay. The beds were quite comfortable.

This is close to the airport but no shuttle provided. It is clean and spacious enough -ok for one night. There is no one at the desk and we had trouble with the key code provided. It took a few tries to figure it out but we did get in. Just have to touch the keypad once or twice to wake it up before inputting the code.

Very badly maintained property. Window was broken and couldn’t be closed. Cold draft was coming in. Sheets weren’t clean. Very tiny room for 4 people. Room door was just beside the main entrance.

Not impressed with the location. Hotel seemed dirty and old. Broken handle on bathroom door, safe was locked but a generic code unlocked so we didn’t use it. TV didn’t work. Bed was comfortable. Glad we were only staying one night.

The property was nice (very clean, comfortable, nicely renovated). We also had a room with a balcony and water view which was an added bonus. It was nice and close to the airport which was convenient. Unfortunately, the rooms aren’t insulated particularly well and we could hear our neighbours. Overall, a good spot.

The hotel is a 7 min drive away from the airport. It is right by the water (some really beautiful views of the ocean from my room). The bed was comfortable, there was a lot of glorious hot water in the shower, and the room itself was fairly spacious. I would stay here again.

I booked the hotel on the basis that a shuttle was provided to the airport. They have discontinued the service but haven't updated the listing. I would of booked elsewhere is I had known that. I wouldn't recommend based on that misleading advertisement alone.

I didn’t see any staff while I was there but the property is easy to contact and they respond quickly. If you’re staying the night in Keflavík this place is perfect. It’s next to the water, the rooms are comfy, close to the airport and a short walk into town.

Very dirty..long hair on sheets,dirty floors,broken glass in window, dirty,wet towels on the patio not mention that there is No shuttle, there is No pool,towels are so dark and washed off,tea cups dirty..Code to hotel didn't work yet nobody to ask..restaurant opens at 5pm..and location is not that great..I will never stay in this hotel..and this place shouldn't be call hotel..maybe motel...I stay in many hotels with hotels.com....yet this one was Total disappointment..

Unclean, but could be nice

Got there around 10:30 and did self check in. I had never gotten an email but was able to call using lobby phone and they gave me the code, so that was fine. Fridge was broken and dirty and the shower either was not cleaned or not cleaned well as there was a gross substance in the corner of it and the wall looked to be falling apart. I originally tried changing to an ocean view and hotels.com was horrible to work with as they claimed any change in room would have had to cancel without refund and book new.
