Perfect for 24 hour layovers: 7 minutes from KEF. Restaurant is fabulous. We had a rented car and explored the seaside villages, the geothermal areas and the lighthouse. Some fun bird watching. Bed was comfortable. Cons: noisy front door that might wake you. Pillows a bit limp and only one each. Only one partial roll of toilet paper and we ran out in the middle of the night.

We received all our check in information pre-trip. Our room was ready when promised and was clean and very comfortable. It was all “self -serve” so if you need a place with a reception desk keep that in mind.

no staff in this property. They will send you a code to your room! The hotel is located inside the duus restaurant. It was hard to find as they were no indication where it was. So with that said, you have to enter the restaurant to get to your room upstairs. The room has a kettle and water. Comfortable bed and decent size room! It is next to the bay! A beautiful scenery at night.

The staff s not on site, very pleasant and responsive via messaging, but there is zero on-site staff. More of an Air BnB business model. They advertise airport shuttle, there is none. They advertise breakfast, there is none. My room felt like staying at a relatives house who begrudgingly tidied up a bit before I came. Perfectly fine for a layover stop, but I would not choose it for more than that.
Lobby chairs set expectations nicely.
