Exceptional staff were very helpful upon arrival. The lounge area is amazing and we saw multiple parties including ourselves taking advantage of the space and enjoying the art work. Great breakfast as well.

The property is very classy and feels nice and inviting in the lobby areas. The staff were particularly helpful and the stay was amazing overall. The location isn’t too far from the center of everything… just about a 5-8 minute walk.

Rooms were on the small side so take that into account; but, free parking is a big plus in downtown Reykjavík and it’s still just a short walk to the start of the rainbow road and the main stretch of the city. Would stay here again.

The hotel has a cozy atmosphere and a wonderful collection of paintings. Location perfect, walking distance to th main objectives. The room (twin bed) was relatively small and basic but clean and comfortable. Excellent coffee at the reception. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Cons: tv had only one English channel (UK ƁC); no body lotion; breakfast buffet was very expensive.
