Good location for a few days stay. Service was prompt and fair. Didn’t eat at the breakfast but it as spoken well of by others visiting.

Slippage is Not fun!

Everything but one was great! The bed was actually two singles pushed together but not lashed. They came apart and i slipped down between them at the most opportune time. Not funny!

We were in a second floor room and were awakened after midnight by someone outside appearing to do something he should not have been doing. Another person confronted the individual and a loud encounter ensued with threats of calling the police. We called the front desk 4 times and all we got was recorded music, leaving us a bit concerned. Luckily the person drove off. Otherwise it was a great location and a nice room and stay. The breakfast is pricey but so is everything else in Iceland!

Staff were extremely helpful with tourist information and wayfinding. When our converter for electrical equipment was not functioning- the team sold us one ! Very convenient when we all rely on cell phones and charging them is a necessity. Great staff and delicious breakfast on site. I would definitely return to this hotel!

Perfect choice for a hotel in Reykjavik. Very close to great restaurants and city hall for tour pickups. Breakfast had lots of choices- hot and cold including smoked salmon. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.

We chose the Hotel Reykjavik because of its central Reykjavik location. And it was spot on --- within walking distance to nearly everything! The standard room is very, very small -- so it is not a place to spend much time. The lobby however is OK, but it too is crowded because no one spends time in the room. The other comment we have is the rooms are very warm -- ALL of the time ! They are heated thermally and it was not fun to sleep in such a hot room. We had the one window open as far as possible, but it did not help much. The staff is excellent and very helpful. And the breakfast is Great !

Great location. We came off a cruise and were able to get a room earlier than expected. Very walkable location! It was a short walk to Bus stop #1, which is where we were picked up for other excursions.
