Super clean, comfy, very friendly and helpful team who spoke perfect English (our Icelandic is rubbish!). Breakfast was fantastic and they arranged a to-go breakfast bag on our last morning as we had to leave early - we didn't need to remind them, they remembered and had them ready at our check-out (5am!) which was great. Room was impeccably clean, bed super comfy, very quiet - no road noise, very cosy and liked that we could adjust the room temperature to suit us. Also really appreciated that housekeeping is on a request-only basis, so no unnecessary replacing of towels/robes etc. We used the spa which we had to ourselves and was lovely and clean with plenty of towels/robes/slippers and lemon-infused water which was a nice touch. Excellent location, an easy walk to everything you could need as well as a 1 minute walk to bus stop number 1 where all the excursions go from. Would 100% stay again, and will recommend to friends and family who wish to visit Iceland - only wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely loved this hotel and location. It’s super modern, feels luxurious and it’s located right next to the pond and is in easy walking distance from all of downtown. I chose this hotel because of the reviews that it was quiet and it did not disappoint in that department. I got the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel here. If you are taking and group tours, the bus stop is right across the street which you can see from the hotel lobby. I found that I was always the first stop for pickups on the tours which made it easier than standing out there in the cold waiting for the bus within the 30 minute window.

Stayed for a week in Nov 2024 as a couple. Hotel was a few yards of 2 of the key drop off and pick up points. Seamless check in. Tasteful styling and modern decor. Hotel room was a great size for a week with comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was good for a hotel. Would stay again if in the city. Very, very short walk to the main stretch (2 min) and well positioned.

The staff is super friendly, the location is excellent and the room is very comfortable. Although we were not there to watch TV, we would have appreciated more channels and with diversified subjects. Although, there are option to watch Netflix and YouTube it does not work as there is no internet connected to the TV.

Amazing hotel with the most wonderful staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Their breakfast buffet is by far the best I’ve ever had !!! Close to everything and most importantly, the black and white bathrooms were gorgeous !!!!

Ideal location just a short walk from both the coastal/harbour area and shopping/tourist areas of the city. Clean and well equipped rooms and public spaces throughout. Would be good to have dedicated parking, but finding street parking spaces nearby was not difficult.
