Hotel is just average. Rooms are a decent size. Food is not bad but not worth the price. Depending on who was at the desk you either found a pleasant and helpful worker or someone who couldnt be bothered. A little too far outside of the main part of the city and detached. Would have loved to utilize the spa but the hours require you to miss a day of seeing the beautiful country.

The website and the reality were very far from each other. We chose this place because it featured a hot tub and a pool. We mentioned and asked about them at check-in and the staff didn't mention the hours which was exactly the times we couldn't use them. Open from 11am to 7pm! If the website had said that we wouldn't have picked this place. The staff were not very friendly. The dining room was also confusing as to the buffet and where you could sit. The rooms need a bit of updating.

The front desk was friendly and the hotel was clean. It feels more like a 3-star hotel given the rooms only have the absolute basics. (i.e. There’s no lotion, microwave, hair dryer, etc.) The housekeeping service could be better- in their efforts to remain as eco-friendly as possible, they did not replace our used coffee cups at all during our 3-night stay. Also, the amenities are ~$50 daily per person if you want access. Overall, I expected more perks/extras out of a 4-star hotel.

Chic, clean and comfortable hotel. The shower, bathrobes and bedding were excellent. About 10 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. Wedding reception dinner at Satt was delicious. The planes can be loud at night if your room faces the airport side of the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would stay again.

Property was clean and nice. Staff was helpful. It’s very expensive to use anything except the room. The pool was $30 to use per day. The food prices were outrageous as well and then on the first day they tried charging me extra for the breakfast when it clearly was included
