The front desk staff was very rude, especially at check-in. The bar was wonderful. The room was typical for Iceland, but bed was not very comfortable. It was further from the city center than I expected, so would recommend a car if staying here (we had one). Plenty of parking.

Hotel is big and one would expect a large chain hotel atmosphere. This was met our expectation. However the dinner choices was rather limited to boring a menu. Unless one choose their buffet, the meals had no local character. But for dinner a heavy buffet is not suitable. When people travel, they usually want to experience local food. Especially for a major hotel near an airport, local food should always on the menu and be promoted. This one failed on that.

Don't give them your card as they will take money from it even without telling. Rude and unprofessional reception staff. Restaurant staff was wonderful. But reception staff was rude, arogant and gor god knows very bad attitude Do not stay here, Hotels.xom promote this as they get more money but not worth a penny.

Loves the room, and the restaurant. A little bit away from the city center , but not too far. You can walk to the bus depot from there. Only downside to this place is that it is right on the RKV airport so you will hear planwa and helicopters taking off in the morning

Lied to and treated terribly by the front desk. Told us we could check in at 2:00pm, but then when we arrived at 2:00 told we could not check in. We were told that the woman who told us was sick and since she was sick it made her confused. Obviously a lie. So fine we couldn't check in so we are sitting in the lobby, and notice people start to get checked in. Mind you the front desk staff that just told us we couldn't check in is looking right at us yet still did not let us know that we can now check in and letting people that were walking in able to check in. I would not recommend this deceitful front desk. Was told by expedia we would be receiving perks food credit and possible upgrade. None this was even mentioned. Stay away.....

Horribly tiny rooms. We were a family of three adults and there was barely any space to move after moving in with luggage. Bathroom door did not lock!!! Floors were dirty. A broom job would have been minimal effort. Coffee cups had residue of sugar from previous use. Bathroom especially shower was so small - barely could fit in it. Very disappointed. Number of towels were less had to go get them. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Flew in from the US for a two day stop over in Iceland and this hotel was perfect location to city center (walking is about 20 min away) the hotel was awesome and clean! Highly recommend

The "Bar Menu" at the restaurant Satt was an excellent alternative to the "Buffet" (which was comprehensive, but more than I wanted for dinner). The steak and fries were outstanding. I especially appreciated the chef agreeing to make an ice cream-only dessert for me.

Excellent hotel. Not cheap, but nothing is Iceland is. Prices are higher in Iceland for everything. The location was not the most convenient for walking downtown, but we still managed to visit many places downtown on foot. Reykjavik is not that big.
