We arrived on an early morning flight. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel and were notified as soon as our room was ready. (usually 3pm check in) This was a great location to explore the town, the day before our cruise. The staff was so accommodating. I wish we had a few more days!

Beds were comfy, everything was fantastic and the service was very friendly and generally kind. Our room was very spacious and we loved the balcony. The only suggestion I would make would be a bigger duvet for the queen beds. I’m really tall and I found it either didn’t cover my length or if I moved it around it wouldn’t fully cover my partner. Otherwise, fantastic and great location!

Lovely spot in the heart of Reykjavík

A comfortable, excellence spot near the heart of Reykjavík. We have a sizable room with many amenities like kitchen equipment. Very affordable price. Friendly staff. My only complaint would be that there is no on-site parking.

Great stay and the best staff

Great hotel in the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik. The staff, Gina in particular went above and beyond in assisting with a luggage issue we had to deal with from the airport that had nothing to do with the hotel. The “bigger room” was perfect for our family of four and we had an amazing stay. Highly recommend.

Great location with easy walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was great too. We only spent 1 night in the family room which isn’t big but has outdoor deck access as well which we would have used if we’d stayed there longer. We even walked to the Aurora museum on the waterfront which is doable if you can walk a couple of miles round trip.

We had a nice stay. Our room fit our 1 night need with a family of 4. A little noisy as we were on the first floor and it was Saturday night. That said check in and departure were seamless. Location is EXCELLENT right in the middle of midborough and close to everything.

Lovely Downtown Hotel

The room was very nice and cozy. The beds were nice as well. It had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The lobby and restaurant were lovely. My only complaint would be shades to block out light. Since we went and it was light outside 24/7, i think they could have done better with the shades. Our room was never dark.

We travelled in Iceland for 6 days , and I have to say we had the most spacious rooms at Kvosin. Traveling in Iceland is interesting. Most rooms have 2 single/twin beds, which they can put together as a double, or keep separated. But each twin is honestly too small for share with a kid. Most hotels also mention they can’t accommodate a cot in the room due to fire code. So it’s challenging to find a room for 2 adults and 1 kid. The room we had at kvosin has a living area with a sofa bed in addition to the bedroom. This worked out perfect for us. I think this is a very good option for a family traveling together and don’t want to pay for 2 separate hotel rooms.
