The geothermal plant takes away from the sweetness of this place. Very thankful they were spared from the last lava flow. Very close to the blue lagoon

Very warm and homey feeling. Lovely rooms. The staff were incredibly nice! They set out breakfast for us at 5am, so we could eat before we left the property. Would recommend!

The room was clean, spacious, and well-kept, which made for a comfortable stay. However, road closures in the area made finding the hotel a bit of a hassle. The most notable downside was the power plant located right next to the property. It is loud and overwhelming.

Lovely hotel. The front staff were great. They signed us up to be woken up if the northern lights came out (which we didn't think would but did!!). They woke us up at 2am to see amazing Aurora lights. The meal in the dining room and also the breakfast were GREAT. Room was large, clean and comfortable beds. Would stay here again for sure. Especially b/c very close to The Blue Lagoon and the airport.

Next to Blue Lagoon.
In the beginning, bit worry to stay in that area due to seismic activity, but Anna explained the sitution very well and big encouragement that we are in a good hand. Bit diificult to find due to road closure, but next to Blue Lagoon. Do not follow car GPS, just drive to BL and there is a sign of this hotel. Drop of and pick up to BL every hour. Very friendly and helpful staffs. The room is big and clean. Max resto also provides a nice meal although the menu is limited. Recommended.

We made a last min booking here and could not have been happier we did! Highly recommend this very special place to visitors. Originally we had plans to head to the city. This was a much much better move after landing coming to relax and unwind in the lagoon region. The hotel staff was attentive and super helpful. Loved it.

This location is very close to the blue lagoon. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean as is the entire hotel with wonderful spaces to enjoy a drink or play some board games.
