My arrival at the Park Inn was at 7 a.m. due to an early flight. I couldn’t get a room until 10 a.m. with an additional hefty charge. My room, however, was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable.

Overpriced, low quality hotel
I have probably stayed in around 20hotels this year and honestly the worst I have been. The price was £210 per night including breakfast, but I stayed in much better Premier Inn in UK for much less. The tourists keep coming and leaving literally 24h, and the noise from the hall kept me awake for most of the night. Breakfast lady on her own, so food running out very quickly and very basic choice. The cleaners noisy in the other rooms from the early hours, once I put the do not disturb card until 9:am so my room was not cleaned. On the other day very impatient knock on my door and asked if I needed fresh towels…really what time they need to finish. Also there was some mould in the shower area. I spent 4 nights and came back very tired- will not come back

The hotel is close to the Reykjavik airport. Good for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight. It is clean. The front desk agent was courteous. The room was spacious.

Not 4 stars hotel definitely
The facilities in the hotel is too basic for a 4 stars hotel! The pillows, duvet, shower gel shampoos and etc hardly meet to 3 stars condition. They provide basic instant coffee and tea in the room where most 4 stars hotel would provide coffee machine with pods. Room is space which is good. There are some lights around window which cannot be switched off. This is super annoying as we stayed two nights and were not able to sleep well. We can also hear the noise from upstairs and next doors.

I expected the hotel to be much nicer for a Radsson property. Stained carpet in hall. 2 pillows provided had to ask for 2 additional. Extremely cheap uncomfortable mattress the worst on our 11 day Iceland trip. One half hour before checkout the lights and tv were turned off. I’ve never experienced this. Of course they were turned back on when I requested but Really!!
