We were forced to return to the city one day sooner than planned due to inclement weather and the hotel staff were able to accommodate our early arrival, answered a million questions we had, and remained very supportive throughout. Most economical apartment we stayed in during our visit to Iceland, but it felt like a luxury apartment. It had everything thing we needed for a comfortable stay. A bonus was the fast wi-fi which allowed my granddaughter to complete her online classes. Wonderful bakery next door!

The property is in a great location, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The shower could use an update, though. We stayed on the second floor and could hear every group coming into the building because the heavy entrance doors slammed shut each time. I understand the doors need to be heavy due to the weather, but the noise was noticeable, especially at night. We parked at P3 location, which is only a few blocks away, for lower parking charge. We only made hot water for coffee and tea. Overall is good since it is in the middle of the city.

The location is right in the city, close to everything: bars, restaurants, shopping, and transportation. The place is very clean, spacious, and safe. I had a studio apartment and was able to shop and make my own breakfast, which was fantastic because my tours started very early in the morning. The only downside is that you can hear everything: doors closing, suitcases being dragged along because there's no elevator, so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. The walls and floors are paper-thin; there's zero sound insulation. My second-floor room was in an interior courtyard, so I didn't hear any outside noise. They were very responsive to all my questions. If you don't mind the noise inside the building and want a convenient and reasonably priced place, this is the stay for you.

We had a great stay at Rey Apartments in Reyjavik. Our room was fantastic and we loved having a kitchenette and lounge to use in the mornings and evening. The location was fantastic and easily walkable to the main areas of town. The apartment was clean and check in was super easy. We'd definitely stay with you again!
