Had to do a late check in due to other another property not working out. Even in the late hours of trying to unwind after a long day the staff exceeded expectations and made the short stay very welcoming and great. Would absolutely stay here again, was very clean and new inside and out of the room.

What a gem! The warm feeling of this hotel is only augmented by the wonderful patio with spas overlooking the nearby mountains. The restaurant offered some of the best food we experienced while in Iceland. The room was amazing and had ample space for my family. The bathroom is luxurious. Some of our best photos from the trip used your lobby and lounge area as the backdrop. I can’t wait to return.

She chose this hotel due to its isolated location in hope of seeing the northern lights. We stayed for 4 nights and were lucky enough to see the auroras on our first night. The hotel is beautiful. Big rooms with comfortable beds and a great shower. The restaurant is expensive and the options limited. The food was tasty, but the staff was not very attentive. Shoutout to the bar staff! Drinks were delicious and they had a wonderful demeanor and great customer service. All in all a great stay!

The place is really nice. But if the weather is rough the public spaces are not very cosy. In fact there’s a strong draft every time someone enters/exists the hotel which means you need to wear a thick layer inside… Other than that the hotel is beautiful . The hot tub is stunning and allows a dip in the cold lake just in front. The food in the restaurant is quite tasty and creative.
