This hotel is new and absolutely beautifully built with high quality furnishings. Due to it being new, there are some kinks they need to work out. For example, there aren’t mini fridges in the rooms, so you won’t have ability to store any of your own drinks or snacks that should be refrigerated. The hotel offered to store them for us, but then they aren’t accessible (such as cool drinks in your room at night. Of course, ice is an option. Dinner reservations are mandatory or you’ll be ordering to go and carry to your room. Very close proximity (10min) to the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. A little overpriced though in my opinion as Fosshotel seems to be ideally located inbetween Glacier Lagoon and Skaftafell. Very beautiful hotel with lots of potential!

Loved the property. Very luxurious although a little pricey. We stayed there for 2 nights and we enjoyed every moment we spent there. The hot tubs overlooking the glacier is just out of the world. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The Bar is very well stocked. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast too. We will definitely come again. And oh yes .. we saw the northern lights both nights.

This is an absolutely gorgeous new hotel with an amazing staff! The owner wasted no attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful. Really enjoyed the hot tubs, towels, robes, slippers. Amazing bar and restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with some stunning views
A newer hotel about a 10 minute drive from the lagoon set amongst a scenic backdrop. Restaurant on site was fantastic as was the hot tub. Would certainly stay again if given the opportunity.
