I am stopped by a staff person while I walking to the breakfast buffet and asked if I had my receipt. I thought it was included. She was abrupt and simply rude. Other guests were mistaken about a complimentary breakfast. I paid but it was cold and terrible. Next my vehicle was parked directly outside and was told to simply ask for it when I am ready to go. I never received the initial text from the valet. I approach a valet who is eating breakfast at the valet stand and was asked for ID, phone number, room number and tag number. Totally unprofessional.

Stay here was pretty typical. Not all it’s hyped up to be. Breakfast is expensive and not worth it. Very confusing on breakfast process. Illy informed at checkin about breakfast and whether it was complimentary or not. Overall hotel is dark; not very much lighting. Was not informed when booking, that hotel has no parking other than valet. Informed that if we didn’t use and pay valet, we have to park on the street and pay the meter. Not really satisfied with our stay for the price that we paid. Would not recommend

Hotel itself fine. Valet service NIGHTMARE

Husband and I on reservation. Husband couldn't go. I went alone. Valet supposed to text link to retrieve car. I never got it after two tries they gave up. I asked for car the next day they said I couldn't have it because I hadn't texted and my name wasn't on tag. Valet had written my husband's name (not there) on tag although both on reservation. I talked to manager (super nice and she told the valet I was on the reservation). Valets had said rules are rules and I couldn't have the car because my name wasn't there. One walked away. This morning when I checked out (6:00am) there was one male behind the front desk. I said I'd like to check out. He GRUNTED. I gave the room key and waited for "all good, thanks, come back again" etc. NOTHING. I asked valet for the car. She said no. You have to text. I said I never got the link. She asked if I gave the right number. When I said yes she yelled "just asking"! I told her the tag now had my name on it, it had my phone number on it and I wanted the car. She hunted through very unorganized key locker (I know because the day before they couldn't even FIND my keys and told ME to look). She asked what kind of car it was. I told her. They had written the wrong make on the tag so she said it wasn't my car. When she found the key she put it on the desk and said here you go. I said I have no idea where my car is. She said oh yeah, and brought the car. Valet horrible. Guy at front desk terrible for a public facing position. Not ever going back.

A suite

As I mentioned earlier, when I entered the room, it had some kind of strong scent. I had to run the fan from the heater/AC for several hours to dissipate it. I really got a good night sleep because the bed was wonderful and I like the extra long pillows they had. The bathroom was kind of strange because it had a low ceiling and there was not a lot of room. But the shower was very invigorating.

Check in and check out was quick and easy. The hotel was very cute and so clean. Our beds were comfortable. We were there for a show at the Altria Theatre and it was an easy walk. There are many restaurants in the area also.

Still tired after a noisy night

Not a good experience. My room was across from the elevators which were noisy and apparently there was some issue. I heard the elevator ding (loudly) 10 time between 3:00 and 3:30 am. The crack under the door was large and let both sound and light in. The room next door had someone talking loudly until 3:00 am when I got up and banged on the door. I knew I should have asked for another room as soon as I saw that it was across from the elevator and heard how unusually loud the elevator bells were but I never imagined that I would hear them all night.

TV was broken and took over 2 hours to get fixed due to front staff never contacting maintenance. No parking on site. Vending machines only take cash in small bills no credit or debit option and hotel does not have change on the property. Sheets were not properly cleaned and coffee cups had been used.
