This hotel was decent enough, and the staff was super friendly! The room was as advertised, with a king bed and sofa. However the bathroom door stuck in the worst way (using the bathroom disturbed my roommate until I stopped fully closing the door). Additionally, while the mattress was OK, the pillows were REALLY BAD. I couldn't get comfortable on them for the life of me. And finally, I was very underwhelmed by the continental breakfast. I don't eat scrambled eggs, and that's pretty much all there was. The Raisin Bran tasted off, and I didn't even bother with the coffee. My stay overall was tolerable but the drawbacks were many.

Anthony energy was felt the moment we got to the hotel. He offered me a room to see the sunrise in the morning but I was really happy the room was right off the elevator being that I have a kid. Thank you for your great service!

Staff was great but definitely ran into some issues with reception desk availability, functions of room working properly and cleanliness of rooms towels. Hotel is decent. More attention to details may be needed.

Paris went above and beyond to help me with a billing issue. 2 other staff members (young Latin woman and Anthony) were also extremely attentive and helpful in addressing my overall concerns. Was wonderful to see turkey meat option for breakfast.

This was a great hotel for our one night in the Richmond area. We did a lot of sightseeing and it was nice to have a comfortable and clean hotel at the end of a busy day. Good breakfast, too. We can always count on Holiday Inn Express for a nice stay.

AC unit sounded like an ice maker whenever it would adjust in temperature, would keep me up a some pint in the night. Bed was very comfy, hotel hallways needed to be vacuumed and elevator seemed rough.. otherwise decent stay and breakfast was nice!

The pool was unavailable. The female manager on duty was rude. I paid for the room inadvance. I was chagred 2 extra times for the same one night stay. ( A nights stay PLUS, (the incidental fee) that Expedia nor the hotel listed. I was reimbursed once still waiting for the other full hotel stay payment to be reimbursed to me.

Booked two rooms. One was clean, the other room had hair still in the bathtub. Hallway floors were dirty with pieces of trash, dirt, etc. on 5th floor, cable was out on half the channels, pool water was not clear kinda cloudy, pool was shutdown for “maintenance” on second day we were there, pool was rundown with cracks in cement, parking was good, breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel is in the middle of a large parking lot. Pro: we walked to a great antique mall. The hotel itself was fine for a one night stay. I did really like the pool table area where my child could play. It was all we needed for a restful night.

Clean room and property. Check in and the front desk staff were good. Parking lot was sketchy at best. Absolutely no lighting in a shared lot with an older shopping center. Lights were present but none were working or on. We arrived about 10pm and did not feel comfortable leaving our vehicle in the lot. Several individuals hanging out in the lot around the cars. I parked in an EV charging spot because it was the only spot adequately lit and close to the hotel door were i felt comfortable leaving my automobile.

The water in the pool was not clean. The pool area should have a privet entrance away from guest that are checking in. There should be adult time to enjoy the pool away from the kids time
