Comfortable stay

Very reasonably priced for a motel in this area. They cover the basics very well. The motel is adjacent to a major Chesterfield, VA mall. You can walk to the mall in five minutes, which has restaurants. Additionally, there are a number of fast food and sit-down restaurant very close by.

Toilet broke in first room, moved me to a room with a leaking toilet in bathroom and room full of smoke, then to a room on the pet floor .. dirty, elevator wouldn’t open, uncomfortable stay. Would not stay again.

Try Somewhere else

I will never stay at another La Quinta again after this trip. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room (the hotel was non-smoking) and the elevator smelled like weed. There was no option for housekeeping service until your third night and I saw trash cans in the lobby remain overflowing for 24 hours. The room was dated with tiny beds so small that they only put three pillows on them instead of four. The bathroom had been repainted so poorly that paint splatters were on the floor. Breakfast was included but there were limited options and the eggs were cold. Only stayed here because our regular hotels in the area were all full. Has turned me off the brand for good.

It was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was free. I didn't like the small pillows they use on the bed. They were comfortable but too small.

This is an excellent hotel. The toilet in our first room had a faulty flush, and the desk changed us seamlessly to a room a few doors down. Then I had an embarrassing emergency -- an otherwise unnoticed rash on my skin opened up and bled a little on the bedding. The desk sent up a complete change of linen with kindness and sympathy. I wish I had the name of that excellent desk clerk, who genuinely cared (she was on duty on the morning of July 10). The breakfast is FAB (eggs and sausage, plus other stuff), and is operated by a sweet, thoughtful person named Dee. We even met a few dogs! La Quintas are pet-friendly. We really appreciated our stay here. Thank you.

Hotel worked well for weekend soccer tournament. Location was convenient to fields and restaurants/shopping was convenient and accessible. Front desk was great and ms Dee did a great job with breakfast every morning- made sure everything was stocked and clean. Room was a little small, but ac worked great and floor was quiet. I’d stay here again

Thoughts o nn stay at La Quinta Inn Richmond VA

This was our second stay in this hotel. It's a good place for the price but over the 4th of July weekend, the hotel had too many people trying to eat breakfast in the facility. Despite the excellent staff who worked tiredlessly to accommodate everyone, it was an impossible situation for them. Upper management should have realized that accommodating that many guests would require additional staff to keep the food coming. There also is not nearly enough seating to accomodate the number of guests they had registered. I wish I had a photo to show you the chaos from 8:30 until 10 a.m.
