Temper your expectations… this is a budget motel.

Front desk staff were friendly. Motel is old and minimally furnished. We wanted a low-budget stay as we were participating in the Route 40 Yard sales so we knew it would be no frills. It was a non-smoking hotel but the room smelled of smoke, even with no carpet in the room. Several dogs barking in the early morning, but was not overwhelming. We did not expect much due to the low nightly rate but it would have been nice to have room service at least once in our 5-night stay (I.e. towels, trash, etc.).

No drawers; only open storage No microwave in room; one "communal" one near lobby No coffee maker in room; coffee was available only in morning in room off lobby NO SHAMPOO in room. Bar soap only....one at sink, one at bathtub/shower Comparble hotel/motel brands have all of the above so very disappointing No shampoo just unheard of!

Room was very clean, very friendly front desk ladies. When I called to see if we could get on the lower level because of being handicapped, we were put on the first floor by an entrance, abd t h e room was very close. Thank you very much for doing this.

This was by far the cleanest most comfortable Motel 6 I've ever been to. I've been to one in San Luis Obispo a number of times when my son was at college there. It was good to. BUT this one is really clean feeling. Sheets smelled clean. The gal who checked me in for two rooms with my elderly parents was super sweet. Fun to speak with and very welcoming. She was concerned about my parents going up the stairs. Unfortunately no elevator. But they managed. The stairs are inside. We are driving across. Country and booked last minute. For the price it was above what I expected. For a sleep spot this is the place to stop at.

clean and simple

Quiet room, near to food. I knew beforehand to bring my own things, but the only offering was soap and towels. No other toiletries or hair dryer. Otherwise, very comfortable place to stay.
