Pet friendly, clean room

This was our second time staying here while going to Kings Dominion. This year, we brought our dog with us since the rooms are pet friendly. Like last year, the room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, as was check out. The breakfast buffet was a decent variety for a hotel breakfast. We love the pool table, shuffleboard, and complementary coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar. The only issue we had this year was the shower head. The water pressure was weak in the room this year, making it a little challenging to take showers. We didn’t have an issue last year, so not sure what happened this time. Otherwise, a pleasant stay!

Inaccuracy of hotels.com

We are driving up the country to New England and the rain became dangerously unsafe so we pulled off for dinner and to book a room. Hotels.com said there were 5 rooms but when we got here we were told we were almost turned away because a room was only freed up because a man left saying it was too hot
