This is a truly superb hotel in a fantastic location within Riga old town. We went for the Christmas market which was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is very classy and the staff are excellent. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Leading hotel alright.

A grand spot in Riga.
The staff was very friendly and full of information. The location was excellent and even though it was right in old town, they made parking the car very easy. It is a beautiful hotel.

I have stayed here 3x now. The place is great and comfortable. The staff is extremely professional and 5-star treatment. The food is very good. This time though, something in the room gave me a terrible rash on my neck. I think it was the detergent used to wash the sheets. I did not have the rash before I got there. And it went away after I left. It was not something contagious I got from something else. Therefore, something was wrong on this visit.

The property was lovely and the staff really helpful. The breakfast is fabulous there. Within a block there is a fabulous pizza shop (as good as pizza in Naples) and a Michelin star restaurant Le Dome if you want. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend it.

Riga a less well known gem
The Grand was in the perfect location for visiting Riga old city and easy access to river excursions including the canal trip. There plenty of restaurants and entertainment with 500 metres of the hotel. The breakfest was superb as was the service.
