We stayed at hotel 14 days. Room was nice but very very laud at night was hard to sleep. Because windows was straight to the city centre and but station. We had to keep windows opened because fan didn't work. Loads of staff still need doing in the room. Phone not working toilet seat been broken but we fixed. The only one lady who wss cleaning perfect our room she just left we could see different from other ladies who was cleaning. And we can see how staff who cleaning room very tired all of them because management give them to much and they not got enough staff. One lady in customer service lied to us. About cleaning. And when i told her what our bed not been changed she make face like pffff. Sorry we are pay big money for stay and this hotel and we expecting amazing service. Opera hotel not like before unfortunately 😕 and is very sad. We was so excited to come back again. Alot staff need lots of training still.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Opera in Riga. The location is perfect—just steps from the Old Town and opposite the central train station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a great view of the park. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help. Breakfast offered a good variety and was a great start to each day. Overall, a stylish and welcoming hotel—I’d definitely stay here again!

Wasn’t able to take advantage of all the amenities available. Room was clean and well ventilated, shower wasn’t great, needs a better head and pressure. And not so great when you get woken up by a false fire alarm at 5:30 but over all great for the price

Comfy room (superior double), although bathroom while in great condition could use modernisation and more thoughtful amenities (just single use soap bars and a combo shampoo/shower gel). Definitely not a bad 4* hotel and good value for money. But sure there are better 4* hotels in Riga.

Great hotel in a great location…

Great hotel in a really good location for our first visit to Riga. We’ll be back to see the city again and would be very happy to stay in Hotel Opera again.

The hotel is in a great location—just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town and with a direct connection to and from the airport. However, it is situated on a busy street, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. The room I stayed in could definitely use some refurbishment, as there were visible cracks on the walls and in the bathroom grout, a loose door frame, and marked skirting boards. That said, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. My interaction with the staff was limited to the reception, but they were friendly and welcoming. Note that the reception desk is not staffed at all times—you’ll need to call if you require assistance. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, my stay was pleasant, with no major issues.

좋은 위치, 잘 정돈된 시설, 아쉬운 방음

객실은 깨끗했고, 호텔의 전반적인 시설 또한 깔끔하게 유지되고있었다. 또한 중앙역에 가까이 위치하고 있어 접근성이 좋았다. 다만 아쉬운 점은 방음이 잘되지 않아 외부 소음이 너무 컸다.
