Villa Cofresi is a great option. There is direct beach access and the hotel offers towels, chairs and umbrellas. Staff is friendly and there’s daily cleaning service. The room was small with only a bed, small bathroom without a fan and tiny, smelly refrigerator. The shower also did not have any hot water. The hotel restaurant and bar was okay but it was convenient. There was a small pool which was nice. Parking is free but I felt was limited based on what time you got to the hotel. The hotel is walking distance from a few places to eat and is sort of close to the town center. The area feels pretty safe since there’s really only tourists around the area.

I do have an issue I would like to address. During our stay the hotel had to be evacuated due to a fire in the resort, the resort does not have a fire alarm. I am deaf and if I didn’t have my implants on I would have no I idea that there was a fire. I believe it should be mandatory for the hotel to have a fire alarm system. The staff was excellent and went to check on rooms as well as accommodate the guests who were evacuated with chairs, drinks, water, and the resort also catered in meals until the kitchen was up and running again.
