No sound proofing
Good location, Alex the receptionist was nice, clean. However, i felt little privacy in my private riim as you can hear literally everything from the room door ( I could hear the guy next door breathing /snoring as if he was in the szme room). This is a very big negative for me so I would not stay there again.

Hostel de galera,bom para curtir, nao para dormir
Hostel muito bacana, porem as camas deixam um pouco a desejar, e o isolamento acustico tambem pode ser melhorado, dava para escutar o ronco do quarto ao lado,e as conversas pelos corredores em horarios nao convencionais. Certos ruidos interferem muito para quem viaja a trabalho e tem necessidade de descansar para trabalhar no dia seguinte. Cafe da manha simples, sem muitas opcoes.

Muito bom
Sempre um prazer passar uns dias nesse casarão lindo, com funcionários agradáveis, café da mamhã na medida, localização perfeita e um monte de outras boas qualidades. Uma sugestão é que vocês tenham um banco de dados com as informações dos hóspedes frequentes e, quando a gente chega, só assina a ficha. Agilizaria para todo mundo. Mas a falta desse procedimento não desmerece o Hostel. Voltarei outras vezes.

Cuando voy a Rio siempre voy a este lugar todo el servicio es bueno el humano es mejor, muy profesional, ir a Rio de Janeiro es sinónimo para mi, el hostel Kariok, no es necesario tener mucho dinero para disfrutarlo fundamental es tener un buen hospedaje una buena guia y economizar tu dinero preparando tu alimentación

Hotel simples. Não disponibilizam toalha nos quartos (vocês precisa "alugar") nem ao menos sabonete, e olha que minha opção de hospedagem foi uma das mais caras, quarto individual com banheiro privativo. Quarto barulhento (piso antigo) sem ar condicionado. Chuveiro que saia água quente e fria ao mesmo tempo... A cama e a roupa de cama eram muito boas. Café da manhã bom também. Sinal WiFi bem fraco no quarto.

Hostel excelente, staff ótimo
Adorei o hostel. É um local bastante amplo, com uma decoração de bom gosto. Os quartos não são muito grandes, mas são confortáveis. A única coisa que faltou, em minha opinião, foram luzes e tomadas individuais nas camas.
