The staff was great since the check in. Great location, lovely view from the Pool and the restaurant. We really liked the Pool area with view of Copacabana beach, the Christ and Sugarloaf. They also offered chair and umbrellas for free on the beach with a team taking care of you there. Lovely hotel, would stay again

Wonderful 8 day stay

We stayed for 8 days in one of the suites. It was fantastic for the entire experience. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, we had massages in the spa, and drinks and food on the rooftop. Our room was beautiful and the cleaners kept it in perfect condition. Very happy with our stay and would come back if we are in Rio!

Good location , great views, stuff in lobby was very helpfull but cleaning stuff need to be more through about cleaning , our room wasnt swept or vacuumed , from before we checked in ,and wasnt swept during our stay either.

Staff was excellent, rooftop bar and pool were nice, but the tiles at the pool was very slippery and many guest had problem with it. We checked-in an average room where the AC was not that great and the shower and the bathtub was clogged, but the hotel fixed it and gave us an upgrade, so we stayed in a suite for the last 2 nights, which was very nice.

Rooftop is amazing. The staff are so friendly. Miguel on the rooftop was very welcoming. Great location clean. Only area of improvement was the aircon was very loud so had to shut it off at night.

The air conditioning in the room was on full blast and when turned off this causes damp in the rooms. The hotel should consider keeping all rooms at a temperature of about 21C to prevent problems with damp from the air conditioning units given the rooms are west facing and do not get much sunlight..this may be different for sea view rooms which would likely get more direct sunlight right through the day.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The AC in our room was not working as blasting as low as 16 degrees C. We spoke with the front staff in order to address it but had to do so multiple times during our stay and the issue was not resolved until the last day of our trip. My friend actually go sick during the trip. Overall, it is conveniently located but for the cost, it is an old hotel and I expected better cleanliness and service- would recommend staying aT another place in the area.
