Great hotel for value and location
Great hotel in Rio, especially for the value and location. Great views of iconic landmarks in Rio and the hotel is so convenient. The staff were great and responsive to all needs. I didn't use the spa amenities, but several of my friends did and raved about the services. My only gripe would be the occasional lapse in housekeeping, but honestly, even that was few and far between. I'd recommend Yoo2 and even stay here again.

Yoo2 is great for an in and out trip but some of the rooms like 1010 have great views but some like 1006 have very poor layout. Anyway, makes you feel like it depends on the room can determine how you enjoy your stay. I found it odd there isn’t tea and coffee in the room. You have to request for a kettle. It’s a little odd but the breakfast and amenities are decent

A very disappointed experience this time (stayed two years ago) as a Hilton Gold and Expedia gold to be platinum. Contacted the property months in advance to be allocated a quiet room. Never heard back. By luck got the email of the manager, sent an email 3 days before arrival, never got a reply. Got allocated a room in a very noisy area and unsecure closing to a patio. Meant I hardly slept my first night (party next door) and I kept having caterpillars, insects and worms like crawling in the room. The Expedia gold benefits were denied to me at check-in; had to keep chasing for drink vouchers and clearly no upgrade. Will go to Novotel on my next trip to Rio/Botafogo

Staff was very nice in the beginning everything was nice. The last 2 days just seemed like they did not want to be helpful. I would ask for towels and did receive, my meals for room service was wrong on the last day. Then , the staff said they would give me a free lunch to make up for the problems, and they charge me for the food anyway. The staff does not communicate with each other very well and it made the last days of my stay not as pleasant as the beginning.

Very nice rooms with a comfortable bed. Great view of the city and Christ the Redeemer. We enjoyed the roof top restaurant for dinner.

The room service is not good. They take a very long time to bring the food. I asked 2x for spicy sauce. The first time, it never arrived; the second time, they didnt sent it again and the boy had to go get it. when he came back, it was just Tabasco. Usually good restaurants have their own sauces or at least fresh chillies.

Yoo2 was a beautiful, clean hotel, with the friendliest staff. Breakfast was delicious, and the gym and spa were also excellent. I would say sometimes the service can be slow but it honestly didn’t bother me too much? Just be patient. :) The area felt relatively safe, and it was super close to malls, grocery stores, and the beach.
