We enjoyed staying at this Holiday Inn Express. The facility and rooms were very clean, updated (looked new or recently renovated). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was quite good. The hotel was within walking distance to the Civic Center which we were here to attend a concert which made this very convenient alleviating us from having to drive and find parking. The only slightly negative comment I have is the hotel is very close to the main highway which you will periodically hear trucks and highway noise. Beyond that everything was excellent.

This hotel cost a little bit more than other nearby hotels (though we did get the suite with two beds and pullout couch), however, it was well worth the extra bucks. This hotel appeared to be new, extremely clean, and well maintained throughout. Our room was excellent! I really liked the key sensor feature in the elevator that prevents people from just entering the hotel and randomly going to various floors…just a nice security feature that more hotels should consider using. If we return to Roanoke in the future, we will definitely stay here again. :)

This was a lovely hotel, they let us check in early for a wedding, very helpful and quick service. The room was clean and set up very nice. Downfall would be us being in the room at 8:30 am and the cleaning people opening the door to come in and clean our room. The DND sign was on the door at the rime as well.
