Room 14. Upstairs. Needs paint, new cabinets. Bathroom remodel. There is mold in the bathroom. How they can charge the highest prices in town is a big surprise.

Bed was comfortable, lounge very uncomfortable (springs could be felt while sitting on it on all 3 seats being a 3 seater), stove top all 4 electric burners rusted and rust pieces breaking off onto the stove, couldn’t cook on it. Oven was ok. Definitely a 3* , needs lounge & stove replaced.

Room had a lovely Lakeview however it was quite tired and in need of updating. We had booked a Deluxe room which advised private hot tub but the room only had a shower and definitely could not be described as Deluxe. Quite expensive for what it was.

Had a few issues staying here. We didnt get the pre-check in and access code links sent, so we arrived on site and had to call someone as there is no one on site. Inside the room was nice. Very spacious. Large spa. Very clean. Lovely view. Really large kitchenette. Foxtel on the TV. The flooring is all tiles, so the room was freezing! The reverse cycle didnt work really great so took probably 2hrs to heat the room. The TV remote barely worked. About 10 pushes of the buttons and it stopped working. Volume didnt work unless within a metre of the TV. Had to turn it off at the powerpoint because it wouldnt turn off with the remote. The room was missing a dining table. The side table with dining chairs provided was really awkward to eat at. The bed was awful. Felt like it was made of foam. You sunk into it wherever you sat/laid. Some lights didnt work, and the water pressure in the shower was the worst i have ever experienced. Despite all the bad things, the spa in the room was nice. Good view being next to the window. Jets were really powerful. Was relaxing. This motel has all the right ideas, but needs a bit of an upgrade and the owners take a bit more notice of things not working i think.

We love staying at the Lakeside, their location is fantastic easy walking distance to everything from the main street to Robetown brewery & Sky seafood, the staff are always lovely and accomodating and their dog friendly rooms are the best, highly recommend
