Beautiful Hotel

23rd Anniversary Celebration & wasn’t disappointed. Everyone was friendly from hotel, casino, & restaurants. The live entertainment was amazing. Only thing I would say is the rooms need a microwave. We had leftovers from restaurant & no way to warm up it rioom.

Great hotel at a great price.

Don’t let the surrounding area fool you, the Horseshoe itself is a great hotel and property. Stayed here to weather out a storm during a business road trip hauling equipment and got a last-minute King room at a great price. Will stay here again. Starbucks onsite, and a Guy Fieri restaurant. I don’t have a clear answer as to whether the buffet is still open or not.

Poor experience

Nothing to write home about, the room was filthy. Stains on the sheets, peeling wallpaper on the walls. Staff was friendly & helpful, but the overall experience was a waste of money. Hidden fees, hidden fees, hidden fees. $37 at checkout charged due to it being labeled a “resort” it definitely wasn’t a resort, but we just wanted to go home. Food was not good at any of the restaurants other than the burger place. Smell of smoke is permanently in all of my clothing. Do not recommend at all. Will never return.

Lights in the room was too dark and not enough lights. Potato chips in the chair that was not vacuumed away. Room was not cleaned or dirty towels replaced and after asking was told housekeeping did not clean the room when staying multiple nights and if you wanted new clean towels you had to ask for them although we were never told that when checking in.

Horseshoe stay

No room service during our stay, we had to ask for drinking cups and towels as was told they did not have hand towels, was offered a washcloth. The carpet in the hallway had puke on it for two days. Food choices were limited. The room was ok, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.
