My Husband and I stayed for 1 night recently. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were Superb! Breakfast very good. Comfy and cosy room. Very convenient for Public transport and shopping nearby. Highly recommend

Great room and location, let down by poor staff and cleanliness. Reception was unwelcoming, piles of half filled carrier bags all over the floor. Approx. 30 of them. Reception staff member did not inform us of how parking worked. When I asked where breakfast was served, he said aggressively, “wait you need a key” English language skills were sub-par for reception. We came down for breakfast and there were only two tables that weren’t covered in dirty plates, however, they were unclean and sticky. There was barely any food available. Everything hot had been sat so long it was dry, the cheese was crusty, so many trays empty. The tea and coffee station was filthy, rubbish everywhere. The lady looking after the food and breakfast area on 24/10 was unprofessional. She loudly said I’m getting a plate of food before they eat it all, and cleared out the hot items. 6 more guests came down and were left with only beans and scrambled egg. She was constantly stood on her phone. Did not clear or clean any tables in the 45-minutes we were there. She kicked the kitchen door everytime she went through. Then dead on 11am, turned off everything and rushed to clear away leftover food. There were still guests trying to get a refill of water etc. Whilst she rushed to clear away food, the dirty tables were all left. The room was nice and a good layout. Bed felt cheaper than a premier inn bed but no issues. If it wasn’t for the staff and breakfast, this would be a good hotel. A real shame.

Parking across the road was fab, discount given too from the hotel for parking. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. Room was nice, clean but air conditioning didn't seem to be working too well, Room was very warm despite the hotel rebooting the air conditioning system. Didn't feel like there was cool air circulating.

Great Hotel would stay again !

Lovely Brand New Hotel Large comfy bed Huge Tv Smeg Fridge and Kettle Huge Power Rainfall shower and handheld. Iron, hairdryer in room Breakfast Okay as incl in price ... Reception were a bit regimented with check in and checkout times ...which is what youd expect from a travelodge ..this was disappointing. You can pay to check in early ...but i just want my room.if its ready ..not to be just sat waiting til 3pm... If its not ready until 3pm fine but if it was ready at 12?? Why make people wait? The staff were lovely, really helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.
