A great place to stay when visiting Rochechart.
Lovely well kept hotel with friendly helpful people. Check in was quick and efficient and very welcoming. Restaurant food was very good and so was the breakfast. Hotel is in a great location centrally placed in the village. However, parking is a bit limited and don't forget to ask for a permit badge. This is an interesting area to visit with many historical sites to visit. One of which is the Chateau of the village.

So good we booked it twice
Booked for proximity to Limoges airport, we couldn't have found a better place. It was welcoming, smart, clean and efficiently run. Plenty of parking as in the square. A bar and restaurant with food to savour and enjoy. The menu is extensive and food really well cooked , served and presented. The rooms are clean, comfy and quiet . We slept on the second floor with sloping roof , but plenty big enough. Wifi was abit dodgy in that room but wasn't bothered by it. It was a fabulous find and so thrilled with the experience we booked it for on the way back. The town is beautiful with a fabulous chateau and lovely walks around.

I would have appreciated more smiles from staff. Staff were working flat out and it depersonalised service. The most unfortunate aspect of the stay was the evening meal on the first night. There was no vegetarian option on the menu and charging extra for a simple omelette is poor. We went to the restaurant down the road the second night

Prime hotel in a lovely French town.
It is a quiet but central hotel where we got all the help we needed. The staff were discrete but helpful. We were given a simple to operate code for entry to the hotel when reception was unmanned. We stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and were charmed by it. Since then it has had a face lift but has retained its character. Despite high temperatures outside the room remained cool.

Very central, good parking, excellent food
Very comfortable, superb menus, excellent service. A good, basic hotel that offers no frills but delivers all that it promises. The basic Etap menu is at the bottom of the range and as such gives what you pay for, however the higher up you go, the better the food and it proved to be superb. Breakfasts were basic and more than edequate, although their croissants did let them down a little, but still plenty of other options. In all aspects the service was tremendous.

Clean tidy hotel staff very helpful but the food was over rated and the serivce was far to quick it was as if they wonted us out to close and go home, even when we requested they slow down. If you wont a quick meal 4 course in under an hour then this is or you however if you wont to enjoy a slow dinner the French way may be worth looking elseware
