We checked in & the person working did not find our reservation. Then placed us in a room that had a person in it. We walked into the room to find a man on the bed.

The Country Inn and Suites Rochester is located in an area with a number of larger businesses. The area was relatively quiet, but it may have been due to the fact that we were there on a weekend. I did feel comfortable walking and running in the area. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. They went to considerable effort to locate some pillows for our sleeper sofa. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back patio playing games. We will consider staying here in the future if we should have to return to Rochester.

Great out of the way Hotel
This hotel is kind of tucked back away from the highway in an odd spot however it's quiet, seems safe and obviously kept clean by the staff. There are tons of places to go and eat in Rochester and a lot of them are great. This is a well located hotel for being able to get around town or jump on the highways, city streets and explore. However it isn't very walkable, rideable in the that regard you will definitely want a car.
