The housekeeping staff were loud and rude yelling outside of guest room as soon as they got on shift in the morning. They proceeded to bang on the doors, yelling housekeeping to get in. Also, if you do not remove your do not disturb sign on the door before 9 AM your room does not get cleaned the managers on staff as well as the general manager did not accommodate complaints and they basically negated the complaints I had to clean my own room and go down and get towel so I would be able to shower in the morning as the phone in the room did not work corporate officers were less than helpful as well. They wanted to give me points on a future stay I will never stay at a Holiday Inn property again after this this is the abridged version as I did not want to go on and on.

The customer service was horrible. We called ahead to advise of a late check in and we were assured someone would be there. We knocked, called etc.. for 20 mins until a guest staying there let us in. The staff member then came to the front desk and when we told him how long we had been there - he acted like he couldn't care less. He said - we turn the ringer off in the back office because its loud. We had been travelling all day and were exhausted and it was almost midnight when we arrived. Simple customer service training could have helped in this scenario - but there was no recognition at all that this was bad customer service, let alone unsafe to be locked out of a hotel close to midnight. When we finally got to the room - that itself was a disappointment. But definitely not something to complain about if we weren't already upset. The tub had multiple hairs all over it. The bathroom was so small that you can barely fit on the toilet. The fan in the bathroom felt like we were listening to a plane taking off. The window drafty and let in loads of street noise. The door has lots of space underneath so there is constant light coming in from the hallway. There was literally nothing nice at all about this hotel.

Freshly brewed coffee is really appreciated. The only thing thing about the room is that there isn’t much counter space to put your toiletries but otherwise, good stay.

We had a suite. The pull out sofa mattress is beat. Springs poking through it. Sometimes we need a room for 3. Everyone should be comfortable sleeping. The help said it was new. It wasn’t. The room was clean. Parking is easy. Breakfast ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Staff-5 Star; Parking - Good, -on site no hassle; Breakfast had good options. Cons: People (not just guests) smoking in front of building. Beds- they were hard as a rock and uncomfortable. The chairs were softer. Pillows were deflated. Overall score 7 out of 10 because of the cons.
