Place was nice, people were good. Breakfast kinda sucked. They had a waffle iron and what seemed like microwaved omelettes and breakfast sausage sandwiches

Our first time and will never come back. I booked this as it is under Hilton so I was expecting a good stay. We saw a cockroach in one of the room I booked. Kids were so scared. Its grossed! I told customer service and they just said “ sorry for that! i know its gross I am going to report that”. Did not move us nor did anything. I have a video on my phone and will upload that to groups in facebook/ Instagram so people will be aware of this hotel.

Breakfast supply was slow and limited, everything kept running out and not being replenished. Requested for a room on the second floor upon arrival 30 mins before check in. Confirmed it would be possible. When I returned for check in later in the night, was told all rooms on second floor were sold out. Room cleaning after first night did not happen because there was “a shortage of staff” on property.

Stayed for 2 nights and cleaning service was not offered on the second day although the cleaning lady was present and only was focused on cleaning rooms where people checked out. We got a note saying that due to unforeseen issues our room will not be cleaned. Breakfast was offered which is fantastic however on the weekend they offer it until 10 but on the weeknight until 9 and we weren’t told so missed breakfast on Monday. Funny enough we were in the lobby before 9 and there were no signs of any kind that would have warned us to grab food. We went for a jog and could have grabbed food if we knew about the odd hrs of weeknight/weekend hrs. As a guest it does feel odd that you need to remember if it’s a week night or weekend as you are usually on a gateway and want to unplug. Adding a sign next to the tea/coffee area could have avoided the issue. The pics are showing a nice park with a lake however it is 1km away .. so not on the property which was deceiving seeing as part of hotel property. Overall, the hotel is clean and fresh and staff was friendly.

The only thing I was thrown off by was the incidental charges. I expected to see that in the app saying there were going to be refundable incidental charges, even if the amount wasn’t known so we could have prepared for that. It was $150 incidental charge. The place is okay but not worth $150 incidental charge. For this place to be new, it had a lot of maintenance work done. I don’t think it was worth the high price we paid for the room. We made our room comfortable by little things like bringing our own sheets, buying our own bath supplies and I don’t understand having a whole kitchen without a stove. We did like the fact they provided dishware.

-The staff here were very welcoming and kind, check in and out was easy and quick. -The room was clean and comfortable. (we received a note that due to unforseen circumstances we were unable to get the room cleaned the first night, which honestly was no big deal, nice to be notified and provided info on what we can do if we need anything during that time) -I gave 4 stars on cleanliness due to the fact some of the dishes/cutlery and the fridge were a bit dirty. this isn't a deal breaker for us as they are generous enough to provide dish soap and a dishwasher tab for the dishes. -Breakfast was good, variety of options to choose from, the only thing that would have made this better is if the layout was a bit bigger - it can def. get crowded quickly. lots of seating including outside which was awesome! -Parking was easy and convenient. -Nice location, some construction across the way but it didn't bother us at all. I would definitely stay here with my family again!

Hotel appeared to be fairly new. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, cleanliness was a problem. The carpet was dirty. There was also a mushroom/fungus growing outside of the shower. I reported this when I checked out. I'm not sure if I will ever be in Rochester again, but if so, I will stay somewhere else.
