My mother had passed away. We had so much stuff going on. Apparently the wrong dates were booked. We weren’t heading to Minnesota until today, but the date for the booking was yesterday through today. I called the lady and tried to explain to her. She was very unfriendly, unprofessional, not caring, I feel that they just took a vantage of a family Who is going through a very hard time and they would not even budge or make any adjustments . We lost not only a mother/grandmother but $79 plus taxes and all other charges they added on. very unsatisfied
The room was clean and neat and the motel was at the top of the offramp right in I-90. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a quick trip planned to Austin, and found ourselves scrambling for a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. We wound up here and we'll be back. While it is certainly not fancy, our room was clean and comfortable, we had great service and it met our needs.
So we booked 3 rooms at the Rodeway Inn in Austin MN. We were in town because my husband passed away last November and we had a Celebration of Life Gathering at his family farm in Dexter. Upon arriving at the Rodeway Inn, we got checked in and then went to inspect the rooms. We had to have the Manager come and reclean one of the rooms because it was dirty. The Manager complained. The first night we slept there was awful for one of our rooms. The room that had a king bed in it was down the at one end and the rest of the rooms we had were at the other end. For the three nights that my people were in the King bed room they did not get any sleep at all. The room next door had some residents that very loud and stayed up all night playing loud music and were, obviously, high on crack or meth or whatever they had taken. ALL THREE NIGHTS WERE LIKE THIS FOR MY PEOPLE IN THE KING ROOM. We complained to the manager and she was not accommodating at all. She would not move them to a different room, most likely because they weren’t clean. She told us that they did not do that. We are very very unhappy with the accommodations and felt like we were treated very badly. I would not recommend anyone staying there. It is nothing but a drug haven and the cops in town won’t do anything about it either. The manager was drunk and high as well. Not happy with this place at all. Sorry not sorry.

Lady at the front desk was very rude. I reserved my room through Expedia with the wrong date;(my fault) so I called to see if I could change it and she refused to help me and had the snobbiest attitude. I think she said her name was Dorothy or dilua something that started with a D. The lady that actually checked me in was nice though. She said she had worked there for 16 years she was nice. Bottom of entry way door was rotten and should be replaced.

The tenant lady who checked us in was clearly heavy intoxicated.
The room was never cleaned maybe new sheets but food crumbs everywhere and toilet seat was filthy with dried urine and shower never cleaned. White towels possible clean but heavily stained.
Thankfully no bed bugs or roaches i could see.
I will never be staying here again
At check-in the desk clerk was shouting at a kid sitting at a table in the lobby- acted threatening. I stood outside the door wondering if I should call police. He came to the door and a switch flipped- acted very helpful. I was extremely uncomfortable, but checked in. Tried to explain he was upset about an employee who is drunk & doesn’t do his job. Later while in my room I heard a lot of shouting and commotion outside. Wondered again if I needed to call police. I had to go to the office for towels- was kept standing for 5 or more minutes while the clerk again harangued the kid at the table- then told me he didn’t wait on me right away b/c he “thought I should hear the explanation since I walked in to the previous incident.” I did not feel safe, and the clerk was completely unprofessional. I had booked for 2 nights but did not stay the second night. I asked about a refund for the second night but the clerk wanted my phone number and other information, but then said I would have to call the actual manager about it. I did not feel safe leaving my information so cut my losses. An absolutely horrible experience.
Front desk lady was by far the rudest person we have ever come across. 730 at night and she comes over to our room either drunk or high in front of my kids asking what the hell we are doing because my husband went to wrong room. We were dropping stuff off at our room. She treated us as criminals. Then when we asked her what was the problem she turned around and flicked us off. Next morning asked for management info and she wouldn't give it out she said shes the manager and been there for 14 years. I asked her for a receipt and she asked me why when we paid cash. We checked out like at 630am because she made our experience there the worst.... Very unprofessional.... also the room was dirty, broken ac unit, she gave us a used suave bottle to use for shampoo....
I needed to change my arrival date - spent 2 days trying to call hotel with no answer. I talked to one of your people, they said they would handle it and I would be emailed in 72 hours. There was no email from you. I arrive at hotel, office is closed with no way to reach anyone. I went to another hotel. Please confirm that I was not charged by the Roadway Inn & Suites.
