Unique rooms with a stone wall and open ceiling with timber wood. Very comfortable bed. Quiet place for sleeping. All the amenities you’ll need. Staff was very informative about the rooms and the area. We stayed off season so they had a list of restaurants that were open with current hours. Highly recommend!

We loved the historical vibe of this hotel with the amazing way the hotel was established from an old feed mill. Everything was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed! The continental breakfast was par for hotel fare except for the amazing pastries brought in fresh everyday from the bakery up the street. Delicious! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing spot after a beautiful bikebtt try ide on the Root River Trail.

The location has walkable access to the many shops, restaurants, and bars that Lanesboro offers. Right across the street from Sylvan Brewery. Very short distance to biking paths. Property owners are very chill and friendly. Okay to sit on the front patio with cooler and enjoy some beverages. Rocking chairs on patio very comfortable along with beautiful flowers.

Enjoyed our stay very much at Stone Mill. Only note is the Boat Room is closest to the dining area- so if you are not an early riser, don’t book this particular room. Breakfast is served 7-9am, and you do hear some of the noise from the dining area. Many other rooms to choose from though!

My husband and i loved that there was a place to store our bikes when we were not using them.The Room was clean and very cool looking. Bed was ok. Breakfast could have been better. Over all great stay. We would go back.

Such a unique stay! My room had a charming nautical theme, with a bed beautifully crafted from real log wood. The outdoor sitting area reminded me of my mom’s front yard—warm, welcoming, and homey. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

Terribly hard beds.....

The staff was friendly and mostly fine. Check in was fine. My complaints are the bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard....it took 20 mins to get water hot enough to take a shower...luke warm doesn't cut it in my book....we heard everything from every room around us all night long...after a restless night when asked about our stay I informed them of what I just mentioned and the reply was "no one has ever complained about that before"....have a hard time believing that was true.....room was not worth what we paid....will not be staying there again...

Look no futher

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. it has more of a "homey" atmosphere. everyone was very nice. the breakfast was awesome and well stocked. If you are staying in Lanesboro, don't bother looking at any other hotel. this is where you will want to be.
