Hotel cancelled reservation at last minute

Hotel cancelled my reservation with less than 24 hours notice, due to a “water leak”. Reading other reviews over the past several months I saw multiple complaints of wet carpets, mold, and dank mildewy odors so this has obviously been a problem for quite a while now and the hotel hasn’t done anything to fix it. Due to the hotel cancelling at the last minute, I was unable to find alternative accommodation because there was a concert that night and all other hotels in the area were sold out. Avoid this dump at all costs.

In all seriousness if the state came in, this place would be shut down. I will be formally reaching out to expedia for a refund, and I NEVER have done that before. There were feces and blood on multiple places in the room and bathroom. Truly gross.

I called the hotel at approximately 11:30 to inquire about an early check in and to see if it was feasible. At that point, the individual who answered the phone informed me that my booking had been canceled due to the hotel over booking. DO NOT STAY HEREI made reservations 5 days before my stay.They call me the afternoon before my check-in and tell me they have no rooms. I asked why they would wait until day before my stay and tell me they have no rooms. I was told the manager told him to call me. I asked to talk to manager and magically he wasnt there, Guy on the phone would give me his name

The place was completely run down and poorly maintained. Outdoor paint was peeling and landscaping nonexistent. Indoor entry and reception floors were dirty with mud clods at check in time, hallway stunk of cigarette smoke, door to adjacent room was broken open with lock wires hanging out, no breakfast was provided even though stated in reservation, so disgusting and creepy a place we left and booked another room. Staff totally unhelpful since. booked through Expedia. Will never stay at a Super 8 or use Expedia again.

This property should be shut down. The lobby is dirty and worn out. The first room I was assigned had a towel in the bed and looked like it had not been vacuumed in many days. I requested a different room. The clerk took some time to check out the room he then assigned to me. The bed linens were clean, however the floors were littered with paper straw wrappers, dust everywhere. The shower head was broken and the towel bar was laying on the floor. I only stayed because I was the raveling with another person who's room was acceptable. The clerk also would not refund my money. What a dump!

The room smelled aweful. The tub had soap scum stains all over. The hotel is in need of renovation. The best part was the A/C, it was really cold. You can hear the conversations from the side rooms.

Run down hotel

The hotel is very run-down. It has no elevator, so you need to carry your belongings up stairs and the hallways smelled old and smokey. Once in your room, it smells old, musty and like old smoke. The carpet was old and stained. We were given 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel; no bath towels. The bedspread, pillows and sheets need to be upgraded. Overall, this hotel needs to be upgraded and cleaned. We couldn’t wait to check out to get out of there and shower at home.

The place was just seedy and dirty, no elevator for 2nd floor. Unsafe, smelly, pot holes in the parking lot. Room was dirty, linens hadn't been replaced, dirty bathroom. My wife and I were in the area for our anniversary, we checked in already understanding from the lobby what we might find in the room and when we fot the room our suspicions were confirmed. It was horrible, we decided to not even stay there, and void our refund, it was that bad.
