Was a great stay, lobby and room was clean, staff was friendly. Porshe was very accommodating and personable, probably one the best hostesses I've encountered. If I'm ever in the area again will definitely stay there.

This property looked so great based on last reviews, but we were fairly disappointed with our stay. There were some things smears on the walls, there was a very bright street light pointed right at our window and the blinds did not fully cover it which made it incredibly hard to sleep, the beds were a bit hard, and when we left the one day, we put our “do not disturb” magnet up outside- but they came in anyway. The breakfast was pretty good and staff were friendly, but I think it’s safe to say we will not be staying at another Avid hotel.

People working front desk were incompetent. Ask a question and get a different answer depending on who you talk to. They are clueless. King bed room is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Cleaning crew is super loud in the mornings. Never staying at this hotel again.

Above and beyond

When leaving, our car wouldn't start. The gentleman on duty at the desk graciously used his own portable jumper pack to help us get started and on our way. His help meant everything.

For breakfast, they served bacon bits (i.e., bacon crumbs) instead of bacon slices, sausage, or ham. Yes, bacon bits! Who eats bacon bits except on a salad! The rooms have no closet or drawers. Instead, they have hooks of the wall for guests to hang their clothes. This hotel is relatively new now, but it will soon be a place where companies lodge their construction workers.

Fit the Bill

This property was a good location for attending the PGA golf event as we were using Carowinds for our shuttle. Hotel is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful
