I had such a great experience at this hotel when me and my family went to Carowinds during the spring of 2024. However during the second time around November 15th 2024 that experience changed. Me and my family stayed here to attend Winterfest and this was at the time the most convenient spot to us. We did check in around 10:00 pm and we just came off of a three hour train ride. The front desk lady put us in room. We found out later that there was no running hot water even after running it for a while. We called down to the front desk and there was a different lady who worked the late night shift who answered. This was around 1 am. When I told her politely that we didn't have hot water, she blew her breath with with a bunch sighs and asked rudely how long did we run it? We told her for over 4 min to 5. She said run it again while still blowing her breath and when I ask her are you sure we should run it longer? she said "that's what I said". So I told her she didn't have to get an attitude, is there any another solutions? She said she might contact maintenance and disconnected. Me and my momma came downstairs because people love to talk greasy on the phone but not face to face. She eventually offered to put us in another room but her facial expression look like she didn't want to be bothered. Why work here and who forced her to complete the application?

The front desk lady was quite unprofessional kept on calling me babe.

The bedding was sagging. Upstairs footstel is heard as i lay in bed. The property is very clean with updated features
Charged me twice $110. Charged me 110 for incidentals. Child was working the desk while mother was on the phone giving her directions on how to fix it. Room in the basement. Light flickering. Bathroom cabinets pulling away from door. Plaster on floor.
