We reserved the room two weeks prior. We arrived at 10:00pm after a seven hour drive through a snow storm, looking forward to sleeping. When checking in, the woman showed us a picture of how to use the thermostat when we got to the room. When we got to the room, it was 50° and took forever to warm up. I definitely do not recommend staying there if the weather is cold, because they do not keep the rooms warm. They rely on guests to manage the thermostat.

Best hotel in Rockford. 5 star service at 2 star price. Felt like home (not a hotel). Hotel room clean well-stocked everything worked. Cosy small hotel. Handy location next to Hard Rock Casino buses to Downtown Rockford Chicago. Free hotel breakfast (waffles) tasted nice.

Very clean and nice unit, however it was quite cold outside as was I when I got inside only to find that the heat was turned down to 53°. Totally understand the cost saving measure by doing so, but I had made a reservation in advance and was surprised that the heat had not been turned up. I had to sit inside with my jacket on for 20 minutes until it warmed up enough which I was less than happy about after spending 11 hours driving.

Its a place to sleep but be careful

The walls had stuff on it from the previous people don't know how long it's been. I had people banging on my door trying to get into my room.will not go back $100 deposit for a under $60 room paid weeks in advance

New and Improved

i like that the place has been remodeled and under new management. the room was bright,clean and inviting.all new fixtures and the bathroom was clean ,the bed was clean and neat. the room did not smell of smoke or did not smell moldy or old.. i was very pleased with my visit.
