A great pick

Luv the ambiance, it’s a great blast from the past. The accessible room needs work but the manager mentioned they were working on that. But otherwise a lovely place to stay. Will stay again, next visit to Rocky

We will stay again !

We loved our stay - big surprise when we opened the door - huge comfortable canopy bed, gorgeous corner spa, lovely old fashioned decor, extra high ceilings, air con, friendly staff on check-in. We would definitely stay there again. (Location a bit noisy when the train went by outside but only happened twice and didn’t bother us or keep us awake as we didn’t hear any traffic throughout the night.)

Beautiful historic building and very friendly welcome. Being right on the train line is off putting at first but the traffic appeared to stop overnight. Unfortunately the room was somewhat neglected with a missing smoke detector, broken towel rail and frosted over freezer. Also the bed although huge was showing its age with a sagging mattress on the right side.

The shower in room 8, the water was draining away, but water was still lying around on the floor. This was making hard to keep our feet dry when wanting to use toilet.

The property was on a main intersection and railway. Very noisy. Opposite the great western pub which is a good venue with things going on in the evening including rodeo and line dancing. The room was fairly clean but quite dusty especially behind furniture. Smoke alarm was broken. Spa bath did not work, no dressing gowns as advertised. Massive room was interesting and comfy big bed. Ok for a night but would not return.

Very large and very comfortable bed, quirky room distribution with spa pool/Shower, bed and sofa in one room with separate toilet!!! We loved it. Room on Main Street side bit dark and huge ceilings. Close pub/restaurant and train line opposite but did not disturb, not too noisy.
