Location on beach..but this beach is rough..all food and drinks very expensive..rooms really need to be modernized...carpets in corridors desperately need renewing...some staff are excellent..front desk staff very good...lots of restaurants and bars around...you can see it was once a splendid place..they are still charging for that...but not delivering on great rooms for those prices..location on beach is the reason I guess..but we went to calmer beaches so did not use facility..pool is huge..but also needs work...

A mixed bag.

The staff is OK maybe. (Our wakeup call was a knock on the door 40 minutes late.)The maintenance is spotty. (The sliding door on our balcony was off the track). The onsite restaurant was overpriced with mediocre food. The check-in procedure was antiquated but the staff pleasant. The location and outside amenities are excellent.

WE booked a Sea View Room and had to be moved from Pool View Room. The second room we had had no sea view either, as there was a large palm tree growing in front of the Balcony. The air conditioning did not work properly and was stuck on 17 degrees and wouldn't turn off. we had to take our luggage to our room and then had to move it ourselves across to the other side of the hotel to the second room, which was no better!! I think Expedia should give us recompense for our inconvenience, and, the fact that we paid for4 a sea view room, but not given one on the second attempt. (If we had been staying in Barbados for longer than 1 night then we would have changed hotels).

This place needs a LOT of upgrading. The showers are falling apart, the shower faucets are almost coming out of the walls, the water on the shower head is coming every which way, the drawers won't open or close right. People are not very helpful! When you ask for food or drinks, it seems like you are bothering them. I had only one person that was very helpful, her name was Cache. Other than that, every time I ask a question, drinks or for food, it seems like I was asking for a favor or like I wasn't paying for it. The price for a room in this pace is not worth at ALL. They are other places that are much better for less money or at leas the same price but a LOT better.

Property is conveniently located. Its close to the boardwalk which is nice. I didn't like the room. The walk yo the room was not pleasant. The hallway is open to the noise of the generator or whatever that was and open to an unpleasant smell of garbage. Also the jetted tub in the room was not functional. The room was also plain with no artwork on the walls, no desk an chair and the shower was cramped. There was bird droppings on the porch which could've been cleaned before we got there.

Check in time is 3:00 pm. I had to wait more than one hour waiting for my room to be ready. That was really inconvenient as my family and I were only staying one day. Also, there was nothing to do there. Just the swimming pool and a games room containing a table tennis table.

Enjoyed Accra Hotel. Nice clean comfortable room, beautiful beach with loungers and umbrellas, lovely pool. Walking boardwalk, walk to other beaches, beach bars and restaurants all around. Small store across street with everything you might need. Would stay here again.

5pm room wasn’t ready. Building is dated and tired. Air conditioning stopped working one night. Room keeping were late everyday and we were back to our room twice prior yo cleaning so we just got new towels w/o service. Pool was out of service for four days. Having them agree to an 1.5Hr late checkout was a hassle after all that. Restaurant breakfast is $36 US for a buffet. The beach is awesome. White powder sand, emerald warm water. The area has several nice restaurants within walking distance. (Champers, Bubbas sports bar, Tiki Hut, Blakeys live music, Tapas, Worthing Square food trucks, Chefette, BBQ Barn, Picasso for breakfast right across the street was pleasant and reasonably priced) Public transport runs very frequently and is $1.75 US per trip. Lisa’s roti hut is a short bus ride and best roti I’ve had👍.
