We had a wonderful stay here and I absolutely loved the beautiful lobby area. What could have been a major problem for us turned out fine. When we got there, there had been a mistake made by the front desk and they had mixed up our reservation with someone else’s and given our room to them! The young man working the front desk (he didn’t make the mistake) did everything he needed to do to make sure we had a room just like we had reserved. I appreciated that he made every effort to fix the mistake that was made! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in this area. They also have a laundry facility, which came in handy for us after traveling for over a week.

Amenities and pictures of property on the 3rd party booking website was overated. It needs some updates outside with their cement stairs and lighting at dark. You couldn't see the last step down when leaving your apartment. I thought I was going to wipe out so many times. I always book hotels that have breakfast. The breakfast was an insult, as I heard another guest say that. The one running it (not friendly) was asked by a guest what drink was listed as "out of order". She said the orange juice because she said it was too expensive. I never heard of such a thing. I have never stayed at a property for breakfast that had no orange juice. That was a ridiculously as mostly everyone drinks it They had 1 yogurt left that was strawberry and the rest (maybe 5) was blueberry and guests were looking for more strawberry and was completely ignored. I felt bad taking the last one I got there an hour before it closed.so it should have been more stocked or restocked.The other 2 mornings I didn't bother going. No sweet n low or Splenda for my coffee and when I asked it was kind of shrugged off as no we don't carry it yet the guest room had a packet with it in there if you wanted to make your own coffee.

AC was good. Breakfast was fine. No oj at breakfast - disappointing. That portion of machine didn’t work. They could have had real oj. Room. Outside / door looked like a dump. Staff didn’t appear that personable (surprising for the area). Shower curtain was ripped and totally worn out. (Someone fell and pulled curtain down?). Strange tv channels - would have liked to have a guide or a tv guide that worked. No replenishment of shampoo etc. Stopper in shower was weird. For $200 / night expected better. Fairly far from town. Never to return.

This hotel was very nice and clean with a good location about 6 minutes from downtown Rockport. The rooms were spacious! I would stay here again.

Lovely inn just on outskirts of Rockport although it’s not too far a walk into town. Probably needs just a little update on decor however the inn is tidy and clean and staff helpful.

We attended a wedding in Essex, MA and the family chose Rockport Inn and Suites in Rockport, MA for a big group of us. It was a good choice. The buildings are older, but the rooms are comfortable enough. The room service was OK, the continental breakfast was very good, and the front desk staff was very kind and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Property was comparable to a Comfort Inn or Best Western as far as the quality of the room and property, but the included breakfast was sub-par: There were no hot options for food unless you consider making your own toast and hot water or coffee. There were yogurts and oatmeal packets available; I really can’t give much detail because I gave only a cursory look around. HOWEVER, down the street a few yards was a very small takeout place, called the Lattoff Farmhouse Kitchen, that had a quaint, tasty, and reasonably priced breakfast menu. We ordered and took our food and drinks to go, then ate at a table in the Rockport Inn’s eating area. When it came time to check out there was no one at the desk and I stood several minutes waiting to be noticed by someone in the office who was looking at a computer screen. She finally approached and said “there are two people here”, referring to the absent desk staff, and then proceeded to say I could just leave the room key if I didn’t want a receipt. I didn’t use or look at the fitness room, so cannot speak to that, but I believe there was one below the office.
