Pool Closed

Stopped for an overnight stay to relax and recharge. Decided to stay at this hotel specifically because they had a pool. I was told at checkin that the pool was closed until further notice.🙁🙁

Check in was fine. The pool had broken cement in the bottom and was dirty. The room was not clean. The bottom of our feet were dirty from walking on the carpet. There was only one light in the main area which led to a very dark stay. The breakfast buffet was ok.

We had a 4-night stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good but some items were not replenished quickly. The only complaint was the condition of the outdoor pool. It was very nice but the bottom layer of plaster(?) was broken up and laying in pieces in a large area in the center of the pool. and there was a small amount of mildew on the bottom. It was refreshing, however!
