The staff were very friendly. The room was larger than promised, and was at the side of the hotel so the noise of traffic was not too bad. A colleague in an upstairs room at the front found the occasional traffic noise bad without earplugs, but was very happy once he had bought some.
Wifi in my downstairs room was non-existent but there seemed to be wifi on the upper floors.
The breakfast is an extra 4 Euros, which is excellent value, with pastries, ham, cereal+milk, bread, jam, coffee, juice etc available.
There is a metro station about a block away, so the location is pretty convenient though the area itself is nothing special for tourists.
So apart from the traffic noise, the place is very good, slightly basic but clean and very good value.
