Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The property in part, is in t process of renovation So far, this old convent building is being transformed into a modern, beautifully stylish, and i accessible for disabled, building.
However, there are some things still needing attention: Shower Pressure in some rooms is too low, Air conditioning breaking, leaving the room too warm. The staff open bedroom windows, but during late evenings, this allows mosquitoes to enter. We were bitten in a few places as we had kicked off the sheet during the night. Water leaked onto bathroom floor, so shower unit seal needs re sealed where the glass is and lastly, the furniture. It would be nice to reach the hanging rack inside the wardrobe. if short in height, you will truly struggle to hang garments up. And no drawer or mirror in the main bedroom desk unit. Simple things, but would make life easier if replaced & repaired.
Apart from that, the bed is lovely and comfy, fridge & a safe. Complimentary bottled waters and an espresso pod machine in your room. Bathroom Spa slippers, shampoo, body wash, tissues and hairdryer.
Breakfast is lovely and plentiful: Cornetto's filled with nutella or crema, salami hams and cheeses, scrambled or boiled eggs, smoked salmon & much more. Lovely coffees, teas, juices and water.
The building is fabulous: Set in a double inner courtyard shared with other permanent residents. The Hotel is set furthest back in the two courtyards.
Less than 10 minutes slow walk to either The Pantheon or the Victor Emmanuel
