The B&B was immaculate, exceptionally clean, modern with amenities. There was a different selections of food to partake from. Barbara made sure every accommodation was met. We never had to ask for anything. Will definitely stay there again.

Although the building outside seems to be very old, but B&B A Casa Di Barbara is updated, very safe, and very clean. Air conditioning is new and quiet. The wifi is fast and dependable. The B&B is home away from home. I will definitely recommend it and will surely stay here again if ever I will visit Rome again. I stayed here Aug 1, 2025 before our cruise and stayed here again after the cruise Aug 12-14, 2025.

Very comfortable

The room was very comfortable and the instructions very clear. The only things that could be improved would be some fresh fruit for breakfast and a recycling bin for plastics.

Cozy stay outside the Center

A casa di Barbara offered a great location, a very comfortable stay, and excellent value. We liked being outside the center with its hordes of tourists, but close to a train station and Metro stop so we could get anywhere we wanted to go quickly (when we didn’t feel like walking). Lots of great dining options, bars, cafés, gelaterie, etc very close by.

This quaint B&B is situated in the Ostiense district just a few blocks from Pyramid plaza. If you want a taste of real Rome, this is it. We arrived early and so Ms. Barbara had arraigned for Fatima to get us in the door. Barbara came later and it was like staying with family. So friendly, inviting, and clean.

A Great Place To Stay For A Roman Vacay!

We decided to take a short Roman vacation and B & B Casa di Barbara was the perfect location. Just a block from the Metro and train station, with many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Compact, but clean bathroom and shower. Breakfast accommodations were a little sparse, but the cappuccino and espresso were fantastic! I would highly recommend for a quick Roman getaway!

We arrived late in the evening traveling from Spain and my wife had gotten ill with an upper respiratory infection. Barbara’s mother called her sister to take my wife to a 24 hour pharmacy to get medication. Their actions saved our vacation. My wife was feeling so badly that she would have needed a doctor without the help of these kind people. We were treated like family during our stay. We loved everything about this bed and breakfast. The neighborhood looks very sketchy but it is perfectly safe and convenient to all the attractions. There are many great neighborhood restaurants in the area. Barbara and her mother are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and we are making plans to return in the near future.

Cosy place to stay at Rome

We were welcomed by Barbara's mother and son. They weren't not only friendly but also gave us a lot of travelling tips in Rome. The place is very clean with good facility. Breakfast was simple but fairly enough. The Ramen restaurant downstairs and gelato shop across the road were a must go as well. The only downside is the room we stayed is nest to a busy cross with no double glazing windows. It could be noisy for some people. Luckily I wasn't affected.

What a great place & reasonable rate. Barbara & her mom Angela were the nicest people. Very convenient to the Metro to get to city center. A great location . I walked to the train with my Suitcase & took the train to the airport for only 8 Euro. I will be staying here again!

Sizzling Rome

I really enjoyed my stay. The place is clean and very well maintained. Excellent wifi connection, rooms are spacious and lots of natural light. Some my find it noisy because of the busy streets but I find it lively. If you want quiet go to the country side or the mountains for your weekend. If you want to spend your weekend in a hip neighborhood with lots of great bars and restaurants this is your place!

Very nice hotel, easy access to all public transportation. Walking distance to most Good restaurants, Ms. Barbara is very helpful and accommodating. Kitchen is open 24 hours w/ all kind of good breakfast,snacks and drinks. We enjoy our 9 days in this hotel. We recommend it to all of our friends and family.
