Overall we had a good time here. The hotel is very nice inside, very clean and pretty upscale looking. It is located on the corner of a semi busy intersection though, so the outside traffic noise is a bit much, even at night. The building walls are older, so not that sound proof at all sadly. If you are a light sleeper like me, definitely request an upper floor! Once we switched rooms higher it was great!
The hotel has a great breakfast for the price per person, definitely cheaper than most nearby places.
One issue is the distance from central Rome, it's a bit far. You can make the walk fine if you are younger, otherwise i say take the tram, there is a stop down the road behind the hotel, luckily. It's just under 2 euro (at the time of writing this) each use. You can just charge your card to use it. You'll be whisked down the road/track to the Piazza Del Popolo.
Lastly, the taxes Expedia says you'll be charged, are way less than what they do charge. For our several nights Expedia said like $32 but they charged €144, because of a ridiculous €6 per person, per night!! That should just be included in the room fee! Not cool, i personally don't like getting hornswaggled like that on check out.
